Parish C of E Primary School

Our work is inspired by Henri Rousseau's painting The Sleeping Gypsy The peace and harmony between the lion and the women on a moonlit night , is combined with the nursery rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle. Using imagination and awareness of colour pattern texture and shapes. We created our paintings in mixed media including acrylic and water colours, collage ,pencil and wax crayons. At Parish CE Primary School, we are proud to have achieved the British Arts Councils Artsmark Gold Award recognising our excellence and commitment to the arts.
